Yes it will help you pump but it's so slow you'll have to work really hard . So many better wings out there for a prone . The 200 is more for the Sup.

I used it a bit early on, I was probably the only guy around here that proned it. It was real good to learn pumping, and I had some fun in small surf but the Iwa was overall a lot better once I clued up a bit.
if I had to do it over again, I'd just get an Iwa and a Kai tail, and then get a 210 or 180...The 210 is all I ride now.

Good news with the Maliko 200 is you can ride it in the most marginal of surf- it pops up w/ ease on micro bumps and you can pump it around as long as your legs last. Bad news is- it is super draggy paddling, once up, it is painfully slow, does not turn well. Although it is easy to keep on foil pumping- there is almost no forward projection- pumps straight up... you get nowhere... like getting around on a pogo stick.

I'm about 75kg. Rode the 200 prone on tiny days this summer. Thought it worked good for the teeny tiny surf i was riding, but soon as I switched back to the Iwa, I realized how much better it was, and I could still catch and ride the tiny lil bumps that were barely breaking.

I ride the 200 in tiny surf on SUP, I now find the GL210 better with Kai tail.
