I've been prone and kite foiling for 2 years now and want to get into wingfoiling.
@82kgs what size/ volume board would you recommend...I was thinking fanatic 6'7 at 125 lts ?
shop suggested double my weight as volume which is 160lts for a newbie?? That sounds like overkill.
imput from wingding crew appreciated.
160L you will out grow within a week so i think that is 100% a over kill for your weight.
Just find someone who offers the same deal as we do and thats lend you a big board to learn on and then once you have the hang of it you bring that big board back and pick up the one that is the right size and something you won't just grow straight out off. Nothing worse than buying a huge board and then having to upgrade a week or two later and lose a bunch of money!!
Depending on your skill level i think for your weight you will end up on something between 5'10 and 6'5 and 110L to 130L
