I have a 10' HRS Fly and is has two holes for mast fitting. HRS is better if you are a beginner as it takes the accidental knocks and hits much better. Only a little heavier by 2 kgs or so over wood finish version, which is more susceptible to knocks.
The screw hole nearer the bow is for flat water sailing and the one nearer the hand hold is for wave sailing. There is no breather hole on this model.
Have used mine with a 5.9 wave sail in 2'-3' waves in 5-10 knots and it was fantastic, but no jumping possible, just the sweetest wave riding.

Funny thing is the board is way more stable with a sail on it than as a pure SUP.
