The only way I can get the fin plate to fit into the back half of the fin box is to force it into the slot by using a screw driver. Once I get it past the first 1/2 inch it slides back and forth easily. It easily slides into the front half of the fin box. Has anyone run into this problem and is it anything to be concerned about?

Get a metal file and file the edges of the little plate..

You will only need a smidge off each side.. Problem solved..

Your right, there is a bit of something in the channel. I managed to make it a bit easier to get the plate in. I tried to get a hold of Naish to let them know, but they are very slow to respond. I can live it, but at the price for the board it should be perfect. I might be a stickler for quality, but new means not having to deal with any imperfections. Thanks for the advice.
