The Naish board is on special making it same price as the exocet.

Think I understand the logic in the grooves on the base, but if they were so good wouldn't all boards have them?

Will be first SUP purchase, borrowed / hired a few times, am confident in flat water, want to be able to have a play in (very) small waves, but also be able to travel some better distances. Am 85kgs, 6ft2in. Kids will probably want to join me now and again, aged 7-12, and also be good to keep up with them sailing their opimists, in light winds at least....

The 10'10 Nalu is a very stable board.and tracks well with the channels .
i would go the GT ,so much nicer in full gloss.and lighter to carry .
as DJ Said maybe have a look at the 11.2 as well .its a slightly bigger board .
both would be a excellent choice as a firsty,and kid carrier .
haven't ridden the 11.2 ,but they say it surfs quite good for a big board .

I can almost mirror Brenno's response. My first SUP was a Naish Nalu 10'10, though in the GS construction. Great board and I also paddled it with 2 kids on it and also my medium sized dog. At 200L volumes, no issue. It also surfed surprisingly well for the size/shape. I sold it to a friend after 4 years because I use my smaller Surf-oriented SUPs a lot more. As I understand it, the Nalu is still going strong.
