Hey all,

So, after (literally) just selling my 10' all rounder as I don't use it anymore, the Mrs came to the beach and had a crack on my 9' wave board, and blow me if she didn't love it (in the flat water).

So, what now on her Christmas list... yup, a sup!

Thinking cleverly, I'm considering the Red Paddle 9'8" Ride as it'll be a great board for her and the kids and can travel with us on hols as a backup mushy/choppy water board when my 7'8' HyperNut won't work..

My question really is, has anybody bought one, have any feedback good or bad and where can I get on at a great price. Are they still a real pain to inflate or has this new pump system sorted that issue...

Thanks..

I can vouch for the new Titan pump. You still get a workout but only a short one, its much less work that the typical single cylinder pump, and you can get 15-20 psi.

Hi Stumpi,

The 9.8 RIDE 2016 is absolutely a great all around board but also good for surf ! The new range got the new material making the board stiffer and stronger.

Check the review and also the RSS pattern.

In terms to pump up what I do is using the double barrel pump to start the high air volume and finish with the adaptor (link below) to reach up to 25 PSI.

Hope this helps,
