Hey all,

Im new to SUP'n and am looking at getting a new board and paddle for less than $1250.
Im on the Gold Coast and the two im deciding between are the 11' Ride the tide Woody and paddle www.ridethetide.com.au/product/woody-stand-up-paddle-board/

and

11' One board
http://goldcoastsup.com.au/product/one-11-x-33-bamboo/

Any advise on which of the above is better would be apreciated.

Welcome.. How heavy are you

You should try and demo both yourself first if you can..

Thanks, 95kgs and I was looking at the 11' for the stability and to throw the dog on every now and again.

I will try to demo the ONE board on the weekend if they have any, they get quite busy that at some points they have no boards left to rent. And the ride the tide is a bit to far to drive to give a demo.

At 95kg [same as me] I'd be going for the wider board.. Just 1'' is noticable with stability.

My new Nalu is 11' x 33'' wide.

If you pop in to the shop and we have any of the ONE boards left on the shelf to sell we will make sure we find one for you to have a paddle on, these are not really in the hire fleet so a demo one should be no worries.
