Recently tried this. Found it to be REAL FUN.
Having a mast track in a SUP gives you the
chance to windsurf when the conditions are
good.
Just wondering about other ppl's experiences.

What board did you try? I have also thought it would be a good thing.

Supping should be supping. windsurfing should be wind surfing

Point taken Brooko, but I'm thinking along the lines of
1 board 2 purposes. Im a pretty crap windsurfer but
got fun outta trying this. And the way melbourne weather
is you gotta have all bases covered because you get glass
in the morning and gales in the arvo. I dont live near the coast
so travelling with less gear makes sense.

Planesailing - this is a great idea. I personally use a modified 3m training kite with my DC10 and it works a treat for downwinders. A little "left of centre" but who cares!

Adding wind power with SUPing is great fun.
