help please- this fanatic pro 8’0 came up for sale and was keen to give it a try- but noticed that the forested breather valve is missing.
Do anyone know where these can be purchased or whether you can fill the plug with something else?
I imagine the board is definitely not water tight without it?
It felt super light as is

A standard vent screw can be bought via any windsurf shop, Surf Sail Australia generally stocks these.

Are you sure it's the vent and not a mast insert for windsurfing? Hard to see on the photo but it looks a bit small for a vent. What's the thread size?

Good question, it looked like the standard goretex style vent size?

It's not that. Those holes are much bigger in diameter. It even looks small for a standard vent screw.

Use something to poke in the hole. It'll probably bottom out and fit a regular M6 or M8 size bolt or similar, not sure what those attachments normally use.

I had the all wave myself and this board only had a windsurf insert not a vent plug.

That’s good to know, so you don’t reckon it effects water coming into the board if I can find a relevant screw?

That's what I suspected. You don't need a screw at all and can just use it like this. You only use that hole when putting a windsurf sail on the board.

Enjoy!

The guy measured it and it was 0.635mm wide? Still reckon it’s a non-required screw? Or do I need to find something to cover it?
