First post,so be nice :)

I'm looking to pick up an isup , primarily for playing around on flat water and chop and the odd mini expedition. I've been looking at both the starboard astro whopper deluxe and red 106. The starboard works out about 10% cheaper and available locally which is handy... Performance wise how do these two compare and should I be widening my scope beyond this? I weigh 75kg, pretty athletic, have done quite a bit of windsurfing in the past . Thanks,

Hi, I am on to my second starboard Astro wide point 8'2 deluxe and they are great for traveling I also have a Naish one that I have travelled with. I find I can roll both boards together and travel with a long cruising board and great surf board. I have owned a red air race and there construction was excellent.
