Actually I ride a mano 9'9 .Has a great surf but they offer me a psh 9'6....
Both have the same volume, but shape is a bit different and fin configuration too.
Mano is tri fin and psh can be quad or trifin...
Anyone who tested both can tell me if worth it ( performance speaking) to change to the psh?

hey mate ,it would be alot easier just to either move your centre fin ,or buy smaller fins both ways will loosen up your board,banging in a couple of fin boxes is pretty extreme, ,anyway goodluck

I've been riding a 9'9 Mano for 3 years in small and large surf. A lot of head to double head high sucky barrelling waves and it goes real well.....I wanted a bit more drive and manouverability through barrelly sections so I was thinking of a smaller custom Mano Quad, I tried the Stun Gun but found it a bit fat in the nose and thick for my liking,..although others love and go well on them, then JL himself recommended the Baby Bomb, 10'x28" pin. I got one and tried it out the first few times as a thruster and it flew and is way more manouvreable, slightly narrower, slightly thinner, more sleek,125litres, quicker to turn ,lighter,...then I put the quads in and it drives even faster, am making more barrells,I can push turns a lot harder and it doesn't skip ,it digs in and maintains speed and adds some, and I have the option to take on bigger waves as well, as opposed to going for a smaller quad Mano...It also goes well in smaller waves too. Loose enough and light enough to throw around. As far as strenght of boards go, I wouldn't surf anything other than JL in juicy waves......that is backed up from a board repairer too...I gave my mate a shot, he was on his Mano, and the Mano still went well and was enjoyable but he noticed a big difference straight away in only head to head half high waves..he also pointed out how just lying down on the Baby Bomb and paddling out of the impact zone how fast it was to paddle!...If you ever get the chance to try one , don't hold back,..it'll only be a step forward.
