Hi,

i currently ride a 11'6" naish, but am seriosly interested in trying something smaller with a view to buy. Problem is the lack of demo gear in adelaide. Does anyone have anything i could try out? i have no idea of how difficult the progression will be so am unwilling to commit to buying befor i try.

thanks in advance for any help,

chris.

There is a demo day at Torquay on 18th October, there is a thread on this forum. Any chance of getting across to have a look? Have a try of anything, I have paddled the 11'2 Starboard and the 11'4 Naish, they are both a noticeable step down in size from the 11'6 Naish, and the 9'8 Starboard surprised me with how stable it was for its size.

SF - I may be able to make it. Sounds like the best opportunity doesnt it. i had heard that the jump frm an 11'6" to a 10'6" was fairly significant, but for some reason, i never believe anybody and have to find these things out for my self!

may see you at torquay then.

oliver - kangaroo knackers.
