I wonder if we'll see races like this down under?

I hope so, cause then more people who like this sort of thing will be either competing or watching, leaving me to enjoy my surf breaks when these events are on. Bring em on I say.

Interesting to look at the times, from what i could see the SUP's were the fastest there.

Currumbin Creek Flatwater 200 2010. (Presented by Roar or insert business name here) Looks like a good format and accessible to a lot of people with board classes.

It would be a great day that one and the stretch between Throwers and the Big Highway bridge in front of the RSL could be perfect for it. Lots of room for spectators along the park, good BBQ area for after, close to home......

Perhaps SUP, Paddleboard, OC1 and OC2 could race?

Waddya reckon Jacko? Perhaps in conjunction with Burleigh or Currumbin Outriggers? Bit of a fly by night idea to begin with but that's how the best things start.
