Another awesome Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut has come and gone. Fantastic turn out of competitors from Switzerland, Singapore and New Caledonia. The ever reliable sea breeze supplied a full weeks worth of sensational downwinding - with smiles for miles!

What was the wind strength?

It wasn't quite what most of us had hoped for but was still enough to produce some nice bumps, particularly on the second half of the run from Hall Heads to Secret Harbour.

I think it was around 16 to 18 knots. (I'm lazy and was hoping for 30+ knots)

I did the run from Dawesville to Halls Head on Thursday with a heap of crew and it was up around 30knots and epic conditions.
