Thinking about it I 'll probably keep the 12 footer for the family fun times and concentrate on something for the surf. I don't really want to go below 10ft as I want it for surf on the smaller side ( if it picks up I'll just take the 9ft mal out). I'll go and have a look at windsurfnsnow its just up the road. Well I can answer 2 of your questions

I have the 9 6" naish and am pushing 106kg and can balance and paddle It fine, It paddles excellent for a small sup. Also it would out perform any mal you put next to it, you better beleive this board rips, highly reccomend it

. I f you wanted to buy Aussie I just got an 8 6" from boardbumps (rod) surfshapes, excellent quality and really good value
