Hi all, I have a friend looking at getting into SUPing and is 92kg with 20yrs of wave ski experience. Do you think a board of 160 liters volume will be enough?
160L will certainly float them without any issue and as long as they've got reasonable balance skills they should be fine. What type of paddling are they looking at doing?
Thanks. I'm trying to get him into some small surf to get him hooked but I know he will also like to do some flat water. He has always used been using the wave ski in surf so has a good understanding.
Yep the 10'0 Fly would be a good place to start as it's a pretty good allrounder. We had the 10'6 as part of our hire fleet and I've spent quite a bit of time on them and the durability of the HRS construction is really good. I would stay away from the pure construction though as I found the outer layer very brittle and chipped very easily compared to the HRS.
