Looks very nice Dean.. What did you do with the T grip handle.. anything different than your others?.. Have you paddled with it yet?

Same T handle as the last paddle, I like the leaverage it provides.
Only stuck the paddle together this morning, may try it tomorrow, only small waves left now, been a good week for waves.
cheers

About 3 years.
It's had an unusual hit in the shorie, I noticed a dint on the back af the blade, carbon skinned 80kg foam takes quite a bit of force to do that.
In normal surf use it's been indestructable.......it's the high quality NZ carbon tube you see

Looks sweet Dean.
Are you interested in making a few for the masses? Am in the market for a newy at the moment and would be interested to know how much it would take for you to part company with one.

Looks very nice Dean.
So how do you think it compare to my $20 bamboo paddle.
One thing I did spend a bit of time and thought on however was the handle. Offset the T piece, fill with some bog and sand to fit. It’s really comfortable, and you can still wrap your thumb around for leverage.

Wow 3 yrs that's a good return isn't it? When I got my first paddle like a fool I opted for a cheaper fibre glass shaft and snapped it in roughly 3 weeks...but y'know what they say, 'buy cheap buy twice'. Didn't make the same mistake twice

Funny you saying the carbon came from here cos I spoke to a lad at my local surf shop who imported heaps of carbon shafts cos he couldn't get any here...or were you just kidding?...It would seem like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand's doing over here
