Did anyone see the 7.30 report on ABC Telly tonight (Thur).
There was a piece on the Olympics and a couple of times they had a shot of K1's (I think) doing sprints. Right in the middle of them there looked like a guy doing stand-up.
It wasn't on a board, it was more like an outrigger canoe without the outrigger but he was definately standing. He had a really wide stance that almost looked like his back knee was down on the craft on the power part of the stroke. He was keeping up with the K1's which was impresive.
Does anyone know what this is and is it an Olympic sport?
