I have an adjustable Naish makani. After a few sessions it's become hard to adjust, getting stuck and not wanting to slide. Any suggestions to help it slide?

Hey pfr,
You need to do maintenance on any adjustable paddle. To begin with, you need to wash it in freshwater after each use. Pull it apart and give it a good flush. Secondly you need to give it a spray of silicone spray inside the shaft.
If you surf in silty water or beachies in particular, attention needs to be paid to prevent the silt/sand from getting in the gap and "freezing" the paddle.
Easy to do, it just requires a little preventative maintenance.
