My new board arrived today from Rod at Surf Shapes. Both board and paddle arrived in perfect condition (from coffs harbour to portland vic) and look unreal.

But on a sad note we lost our beautiful female Neapolitan Mastiff today very unexpectedly to a malignant bone cancer, we only found out she had it yesterday, and just now I have come in from burying here under a nice tree on our farm

So a bit to hard to get excited about anything right now, as soon as i have a few runs on the new board I will post up a reveiw as it looks like it will shred.

R.I.P Baby girl, next few sessions are for you....

Sorry to hear that Brooko. I know all to well how you feel. I had to have Samba put down last Monday. She suddenly lost control of her hindquarters and was in pain. Doc found a tumor on her spine. She would have been 15 in April. Amazing how deep they plant themselves in your life.

R I P Ala...hope you find Samba out there to play with.

My warmest condolences for you and your family… unfortunately dogs stay with us for a short time, 15 years maximum. But don’t be sad, she´ll certainly return as a beautiful human being, as she knew the most sublime feeling that a animal can feel, which is pure love.

Thanks for the kind words everyone mac & stoneaxe, you guys know only too well how we feel, Im glad she will have a friend in Samba to play with. Our big boy is wandering around confused, looking for her everywhere, when the vet came around to give her a needle, mossi our big male went off when he seen them leaning over her .

Thinking of all the nice times she gave us...

Brooko,to paint the picture,Bear the gold'y spent all day and night playing, chasing birds snakes anything that came in the yard, sleeping outside, our other mate Baily ,younger than Bear was the inside guy!Since Bear passed we can't get Baily inside! I guess he has taken the guard aproach? He also wandered around,I guess looking for Bear! They will be playing around in doggie land having a great time and there is not a day that goes by without us thinking about him!Time heals but we never forget!Bears nick name was Freddie (Bear) I was thinking after your post,if I was to get another one I would call him Freddie, after Bear!

Once again, thanks every one for your sincere thoughts

Mac thats nice you still have another one to live on in your family, I think you should get a new one and call him Freddy, we have a 5 month old puppie, who used to drive Ala mad, but I am glad she had a few months to teach him some of her good traits.

Col & Anne, would love to have a paddle with you guys when you come down, Im sure Robdog will be keen as well. Send me a message closer to the day's and we will hook up somewhere
