Having snapped my second paddle in the surf and with summer coming up I am keen to know where I can source some replacement poles? My wife is not going to be happy with a shovel as she returns back to summer paddling so I am looking to rebuild my otherwise good broken paddles as I am down to a single paddle and 3 boards with wife and kids getting keener on heading back into the water.

Any suggestions would be great

Most marine dealers carry carbon tube in stock I know 4 winds marine in Geelong did!

double sleeve the join one inside and one outside.

You could also contact Dean Snow LSD on this site and ask him to make you a custom, I assure you he can make one that wont break.

Just curious, how are you breaking them and are they a well known brand or el'cheapo ebay

Both paddles were bought at surf shops and good quality - one snapped in surf as I was dragging myself back onto the board and go hit by a wave holding the paddle mid shaft - the other had my board and I collapse down on it snapping the shaft. Much swearing later I am left with my least favourite paddle.
