My wife is travelling to Berlin for a conference, and then will be travelling to the Netherlands for a week after that.

She's looking to go for a paddle there if possible.

Can anyone recommend a place to hire?

I went over to Delft for work for a couple of weeks last year and met up with a few of the local crew around Amsterdam to paddle.

Go to the SUP Holland forum www.standuppaddleholland.ning.com - Ok it's in dutch and a bit hard to sign up (unless you speak dutch?) but using google translator helped me.

Once I joined up, I posted something on their forum (in English) saying I was coming over and was keen to paddle while I was there. Pretty much everyone I met spoke English anyway.

If your wife is likely to be staying near Amsterdam, send me a PM and I can give her contact details for a few of the girls around there who paddle - they are always keen for people to join them and were happy to lend me a board as well.
