Has anybody tried the Future Controllers in wider tailed boards?

I have a C4 9'3 Subvector which is a really fast board and am currently running SA 4's in it.

As these boards have a pretty wide tail I am thinking about the future controllers to crank some sharper turns.

All opinions/fin setups appreciated .

I use the Controllers on my Icon from time to time. If you are up on the cost we have sets of futures for SUP's to hire $15 a day as cost for fins can be over $100, so you can try a mix of fins before you buy.
These fins would go sick in my 8'10" wide point but starboard don't take Future's. :(.

Not to be rude here BUT... you seriously charge $15 per day for people to test fins before they can come back and buy them????

What about the test drive center?

Can't see what's wrong with a shop charging a small amount to try out a mix of fins (as offered by sckitesurf). Far better than buying a more expensive set and finding they aren't what you wanted in the first place? Knowing the shop, I'm sure that they'd deduct the hire cost from a sale anyway. While we all want the best price, without the shops to allow us to view and try products we'd all end up buying off the Internet sight unseen.

Disclaimer: I have bought products from this and other shops on the coast, also will buy off the Internet if I cannot get what I want locally and am not affiliated with any of the above.

Most of the outlets i have been to usually have a test drive centre, fcs and future fins. They don't charge to demo! This is also the case with boards, they usually have a heap of demo's.

Hi Wazza,

I too have aheard alot of good reports on the Controllers for wide tail boards. You could also try MR TFX in the front. A bit bigger fin and provided some more drive. You could even try the MR twin fins if your game.

I have just ordered some Rainbow Speed dialers from the states for a very wide tail fish I have. $$ were pretty reasonable. I heard some good reviews

Whats the verdict on the Sub Vector?
