Check out the forecast for the coming weekend!

We are in for some juice (both East and West coasts). Very strong, onshore winds for NSW will ruin most spots - so it might be good to plan a trip to those little novelty locations which face weird directions.

Yeah, a bit too far. I was thinking more like a little sneaky spot inside a harbour or waterway.

Hey Casso how about Racecourse at the Bower. Might be doable on the higher tide if the wind gets a touch of SE in it.

Inside part of the Bower. It will be massive and bumpy but no one out. Out of the wind a little.

Ooooh ... maybe - could be very BIG and still pretty messy though (it doesn't look like it will swing further S than ESE).

Doby is on my list of "To SUP" but the wind'll be all over it. I think I'll aim to head there with a lad who lives in the same block as me - he works at Manly Surf School and owns Finger Grip... So he should know what he'd doing!

Glad to know where Racecourse is - I guess it's the very last "peak" before the rocks drop off.

Dogman's not wrong. Noosa is pumping. Barrel after barrel. Even fit into a couple on my SUP.

Will get some pics together and post them when I get back in a fortnight.

Redcliffe does get waves when there is a big swell on, however it is totally unprotected from the ESE and every time I have seen a wave there it has been a total closeout.

Hey casso the winds gone almost NE so maybe the box might be an option.I know the swell direction is not ideal but due to the size a bit may wrap around.
Catho will definitely be out of control. The other spot could be cabage tree bay.

Had some great surfs on the SUP at JDs and little and big bombie.Due to the small take off area on little and big bombie the local mal riders have a bit of a mutter, I just ignore them and take my fair share.

find a rideable wave before we set off and ever
after checking from the north wall it didn't look
promising, groms being groms they insisted we
drive around the other side
should be good tomorrow [}:)]
