Whats the best Go Pro or in water camera / Video ATM for board mount. I am off to Hawaii for 3 weeks looking to pick one up cheap over there.

are u talking the base that u get to put into the deck of ur board ....like a finplug but u use iot to hold the camera??........if u find one let me know i wcheers!!! jamie ,i w

The best advice for Go Pro is to not point it at yourself when filming.

For some inspiration watch a POV porno to realize that the girl does not hold the camera and point it at you for the best footage

Makes sense Chris. I guess if you are a male hetero watching a hetero porno you don't want too many shots of the bloke. Point of view of Ron Jeremy's head will just about put you into retirement.

I put an fcs plug into my short board at the front and a small lease plug as well so I can tie down a safety to it. Never had a problem and I have been rolled a few times of late.

If you are a natural footer put the plug on the right hand side of your stringer as it gives a better angle if you are doing POV. Otherwise face outwards as CMC suggests.

You can pick up a male component FCS plug in the GoPro surf mounts pack for about $30aus. You need a board repairer/glasser to fit a small fin box thingy and he will have it for a few days.
