Nice work DJ. I did notice in the Hawaiin shirt vid that you had got wet and wondered how it happened. Now I know. I bet that water was bloody cold.

Nice vid DJ and nice pearl recovery at 1.20 , what settings did have the Go-Pro on and what angle. Good Job.

Pretty sure that was Moonez.. The board looked great.. It's the first JL 14 that I've seen.. It will be interesting to see how it compares with your WOW 14.

The water's actually not that cold.. It's about the same as the air temp right now but its defiantly getting colder now summer is gone.. My plan was to not fall off but I ended up falling in heaps.. The first fall was while sitting on my board and my paddle drifted away.. I leaned to get it and in I went.. After that I must have lost my motivation to stay dry.

Thanks Rob.. The more you do downwinders the more you get used to pearling and anticipating it.. IMO what makes a good DW board is how it handles with pearling.. The Glide does well.

The GoPro is a GoPro 2 and set for one touch record and on 720 wide angle.. I used iMovie to slow things down.
