Hi guys, just got my first sup, and just like my normal boards i'm more at risk of dinging it getting it in and out of my unit than anywhere else. Can anyone recommend a cheap board bag to give it some protection? Also any recommendations on paddle bag (though this is less pressing). Board is a 10ft Suplove (and I do love the sup!).

There's a few brands to choose from so check with your local surf shops and see what they stock.. The FCS bag is ok.. The guys at Stonker in Torquay make them for you to the size you want.. and so do the guys at Balin near Rosebud.. The Balin board bags are awesome and most shops can get them.. They also do a padded paddle bag.. Where are you?

Balin will also do custom bags for $50 extra over retail, this means they can put the paddleslot on the right side of the bag, the standard bags have it on the wrong side when you put them on the roof rack. The Surftech bags are good but don't do custom fits and don't come in many sizes
