Hi guys, I'm looking to get my wife a board which she will only use for flat water and mucking around with the family. I've already got a 14' Naish Glide and was sneakingly thinking I could get her a board which would do double duty as a beginning surf SUP for me!

I'm 189cm and about 100kg, my wife is 160cm and 55kg.

I was thinking either a 10' 6" Nalu or maybe a 9'4" Allwave .

Anyone got any advice?

The 10'6 Nalu will surf like a longboard.
good in any size surf
It paddles well
Its is a really good board that people hold onto.

The 9'4 Allwave will surf more like a shortboard.
good in any size surf
It paddles well
more stable than the 10'6 Nalu
more durable
easier for your wife to load on the car

I like them both, but they are quite different boards.... it will mostly depend on what kind of surfing you like to do.
