Hi there, anyone know anything about air asia changing the lengths of boards they will take, We have a group booked with them to the Mentawai's in may next year and when we booked the flights we asked the question via their on line chat line and was advise no length restrictions, but it appears they have recently changed to a maximum of 9'1" overall including bag, some of our guys have flown with them before earlier this year there where no probs, but apparently this is a new change.
We have some guys wanting to take 9'5" Sups & longboards, so any advise on other carriers that would take these length boards would be appreciated

Depends on plane. Newer ones shorter length as they put everything in a box. Old planes chuck the longer items on top.

Had no trouble in the past.
