How many boards do you guy's and girl's purchase per year

Over the past couple of years there has been so many posts
which include a snap shot of the new board, which has
me thinking,how many per year

I personally have only purchased two sup's over a two year period
but I would average four longboards per year

Off Nightcliff in the Rapid Creek mouth, Nightcliff beach (between the pool and jetty) and Casuarina beach below the Dripstone cliffs. Really hit and miss though but had a call from a mate this arvo saying there is some swell around. Won't have to worry as of the 15th though - moving to the Gold Coast

I lived up there for a couple of years, moved back almost two years go to Brisvegas.

I did a lot of fishing up in the NT, don't know if I would be out there on a board, too many crocs for my liking, although they windsurf and kitesurf off East Point!

I found Darwin like living in Cairns, gotta wait for a cyclone to get some surf!

I feel like I am letting the side down with only one SUP purchase in the last 12 mths and to be fair that was a good 12 mths ago! Time for an upgrade shortly....although since I moved north its been getting a lot less use.

Surfboard wise I have only picked up one new shortie this year but there is presently one on order and another one is in early planning stages.

Am poor & poverty stricken living in reduced circumstances....can only afford two a year. The roll call being a Bonga 10ft. a whopper, a Hero, a mickey munoz 12 ft & a psh 9'6 ripper. But rest assured if I was rich there would be many many more

depends....

made the mistake of trying to support a local shaper OKUMA and waited 12 months for a 14footer that turned out to be average at best

waited 5 months for him to glass a board for me that was already shaped (a three day job at best)

snapped a sup mid last year, an OKUMA great board to which I gave a total beating, but had to give up on getting a replacement off him after 5 months of having the blanks I dropped off at his house sitting untouched in his shed.

before the days of mortgage and responsibility I'd get a few new shorties per year and then a couple for the yearly indo trips

these days getting a new board is a real event
