I've been paddling on the Yarra alot lately and today I took my camera.

Studley Park is not far from where I live and it's a nice little picnic spot.

On the weekends in Summer this place is crazy with people everywhere.

There are usually rental row boats everywhere.. Not today.

I scared the ducks and geese when I first stated to paddle.

I had to stop for a 'nature break' like they say on the Tour de France..

The water is always brown..Glassy but still brown.

There are some great houses that are on the waters edge.

Flying fox sign.. I thought they were just bats.

Another stop.. This time for lunch.

Cheers

Only a few of your paddles make me feel ok about going to work each day.

You should make yourself a dorsal fin and tow it along behind your board on a length of fishing line. I am sure someone by the river will be fooled by it.

NEVER!

I'm going on a little adventure over the weekend and hope to post a similar "DJ style" documentary, early next week.

DJ, I'm so jealous. Today was perfect. Did you head down to Bushrangers Bay? Bring the pics on.
