I've seen the ones that have red, blue rails with the little raised pointy nose - Cam's got one. But they don't look like the ones in the photos.

Great looking boards Oliver go for it,one board is not going the undo the Aussie industry, however if I was going to do as you are thinking I would buy something that is not available here if that's possible

Yeah Mac, would like to get hold of something like the PSH boards above - that are not available here.

Hilly, can you post pics of your custom again so I can drool?

While looking up options today I came across this site which looks interesting:

I bought a Kai Mana from Joe Green at his surf shop at Haleiwa which is a good board and well made (not like Starboard). They will give you a good deal even better now that the A$ near parity.
Doesn t beat my Laguna fibreglass custom board from Tully at Noosa. What a great board BEST SUS (stand up surfboard) i own, it flies. If you want to surf not just paddle.
Missin that Hawaii surf. And Hawaiian Air allows you to take a Stand up.

Ha funny topic but any way I was just overseas and went to alot of shops and from what I could gather stuff was about $200 cheaper for most boards maybe a bit more for some and less for others. If you are going over and think you can get a bargin go for it. On another I put a **** load of money back unto the Aussie coffers and you will find most shops do support local shapers where they can but we also have to pay rent and wages as well!!! I know I make millions out of sup!!!! NOT!!!!! But I do love doing what I do.
