I've just started to do some flat water distance paddling. I'm finding after an hour I can't feel my toes and they generally start to hurt (the toes not the arches). I can SUP surf for 3 hours but I guess because my feet are moving around alot I don't have any problems with hurting feet.

Any suggestions other than to keep wriggling them which I keep forgetting to do until it's too late and they are all ready hurting?

Thanks
Shane

If it's for flat water paddling I found Croc's work well..

They're pretty cheap.. soft and spongy and they really helped me for standing for long periods on a hard board in bare feet.

It's a common problem and it will go away once you start to relax you feet more and move them around every now and then.

I fully agree with mac on this one You are starting to show the first full signs of becoming a full time sweeper (making excuses) - sort yourself out mate or I am gunna call Brett and have the green machine repossessed.

daneli, i would say you are unbalanced and pressing your weight forward and putting to much pressure on the front of your feet

stand up straighter and even out the pressure on your feet. i even like to be able to lift the ball of my foot on the paddle side for practice sometimes. i,m not an expert, but i can show you a couple of things if you want to pm me
cheers
