Anybody tried something like this? Any reports for carrying a board for an extended distance?

I had this vision of making a carrying sling and walking the 600m from my house to the nearest beach for a morning paddle. I don't want to use a trolley.

Get an ULI, put it in a backpack and sleep on it when you get tired.

But I guess if you are lucky enough to live only 600m from the beach I'd go for it. Be stupid to drive a car there.

Oliver, I find it slightly disturbing thinking about you sleeping with your new blow-up friend. But I hope you bring her along tomorrow, I'd love to meet her!

That carry strap is a great idea..or you can just use a couple of tie down straps and use a shoulder strap from an old bag..This one came with my Naish board bag.

It leaves your hands free for if you get an itch..

But that would be too hard Hilly.
Boys and their toys just want more things.
I notice Kitersi carries his board down to the beach in the bag and leaves it on the beach.
