As the title suggests, Dogman has the best style 8ft and above. Style being control power and speed for this purpose. Name someone better or link a clip, i'd love some extra inspiration.
I love all the old dogman videos, I definitely just went down the rabbit hole on the SUP Surfing Sessions YouTube channel

The first video that amazed me by the style of a SUP surfer was Kevin Coffman in 2010:
Not at all a longboarder style (no walking), but so smooth!
Also a welsh surfer, Chris from gutssurfboards, riding the 9'6" Al Merrick Caddie some great surfing on a left hand point, abt 2013
Wow, some great surfing in a couple of clips. Jackson Close for mine. The guy rips and his flow, timing and read of the wave is flawless. But gee whizz, hard to separate Fabrice. Fabrice oozes style, flair and individuality.
Dogman and Jacskson close made the best sup videos ever! Patrice Guenole' is also an inspiration in style!
The guy I watch for inspiration is Andrew Cassidy Plus his music taste has an excellent vibe to it...and he surfs all sorts of Sunova's.
his 10' Sunova Style a lot!

I would also to the already cited riders add Colin McPhillips, always a pleasure to watch, mixing classical and modern styles.
... And of course, Patrice Guenole' (Disclaimer: I am a Gong ambassador)
Who is such a noseride-addict that he even noserided a foil board!
It's interesting when you watch the first video with Kevin Coffman and a young Sean Poynter - Kevin's bottom turns generate so much speed and drive compared to Sean's. He does a lot of things well, but it is a bottm-turn clinic if you ask me.
On a good day I am the best in the world. On a sh1t day I am but another kook.
I enjoy Casso and STC's vids because they are naturals, and enjoy themselves, sharing the stoke.
Never stop sharing the stoke fellas.....
Yeah, Jackson close inspred me to get a longboard-ish Sunova Steeze. Although those long peeling waves, I swear that I could be twice as good of a surfer if I had those kind of rights for one day....
But this is my most favorite SUP video of all times....
+1 on the above vid mate, ultimate flow and style
Dogman on this clip at Bells is pretty special as well
I've always thought of Jackson Close as my inspiration especially that 10ft vid. It's my go-to clip when I need to remember what I'm trying to do.
Off subject a bit but surely there can't be a better short-board sup surfer than this guy:

btw, thanks for starting this post, as I am in a flat spell and need some inspiration! (of course I bought a new wetsuit, and the waves and winds have basically frozen me out for the last 1.5 weeks....)
Sub 8 foot but if this isn't the best carving done on an sup please post the link
