Well got some good news about my knee yesterday, according to the scan it is on ly a grade 1 tear, so that means if i treat it right for the next 4 to 6 weeks i will be back in the water, i reckon i might even be back in 3 weeks But i just checked the swell (as i do daily) for the coming week , i dont think i will beleive it till i see it but it says 10m on thurs in portland with south westers (although very strong) the protected points around here will be absolutely firing (for a shortboard i mean) If this is correct some places will be perfect 15 ft barrels Probably be more like 6 to 8ft but i would take that anyday, cant beleive i will have to sit it out Unless i can strap it up really good dont think i could sit all day without having a crack at it, i have a brand new Maurice cole 6 10 pintail just waiting to get shacked

Brooko...That's great news about your knee...I think most people jump in too quick with surgery and don't give things a chance to fix themselves..as they sometimes do.

My knee only hurts when I come to a stop on my motorbike and take my foot off the peg..and then lifting it back up again...No problem SUP'ing..

Good luck with yours...because the big winter swells are coming..
