I know there has been comment on this on another thread and not taking anything away from the performance, but why have this race in a remote location?
The race footage is average and the course looks like it was put togther at the last minute using boat fenders. I'm not sure who this benefits?
As a consumer of SUP products and SUP fan I would much rather have seen these guys compete at Peru than have such a small field race in a remote location. It doesn't look good for the Race organisers - interviews are good, but the course and format looks token or half baked. Some great paddlers there, so the racing is tight - but they could have done this anywhere to a much more appreciative crowd..... or actually to a crowd.
Maybe I'm missing something here?
