Did a Rickett's to HMB and back this morning to test out the new Contour+ camera. The card packed it in 2/3 of the way to HMB (only 2gb) but it went pretty well I thought. Attached it to a headband. GPS tracking is not the best however - did a quick blast on my bike just then and the map shows me cutting through houses two or three houses down.
Anyway, a quick vid to show the quality if you're looking to get one of these.

Nice vid Samden. Hopefully I don't hurt anyone's feelings by saying this but I just don't get flat water SUPing but I can see some appeal in your video. I've been looking at some GPS cameras and l like the look of the GoBandits. Did you check these out and what made you go for the contour?

Oh I agree - rather boring, especially on a glide, which is made for downwind. It was such a nice morning though and it was either paddle or a walk.
Haven't heard of the GoBandit, but like the form factor of the Contour. The picture quality is good and you can use it with your phone to align the camera lens. All in all a nice unit.
