I've paddled it a few times and even taken it on a down-winder.

Here's my pictures.. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/Theres-a-new-race-board-in-town/?SearchTerms=Coreban,14,pics

I can compare it to my Naish boards and on flat water I don't think it's as fast as my 14 Javelin.. (but still pretty fast) and on a down winder not as good as my 14 Glide.. (but more time on it should help) ... but it's a better alrounder do-it-all flat water/down-winder board than my Naish boards if that makes sense.

It's a beautiful looking board and paddles really nice.. I love the bag that comes with it.. I think a lighter person would be more suited to this board but I'm sure a heavy person would have no problem paddling it.. That's my thoughts.

Anyone else paddled it?

Nice looking board if you are into the K15 style cut out look. But fairly expensive iirc. And certainly not as quick as the Javelin or K15.

Thanks guys i was meaning the 12'6 not the 14.Thinking of the bop style races too rather than true downwinds , i have a board for those .Also a bit of dribbler surfing as well.
Have pretty much made up my mind on the sic 12'6 but it doesent hurt to have a look at all options. And get a few different opinions.

Cheers

Nice work, but 50 knots
That's Beaufort 10!

10 Storm
88 - 102 km/h
48-55 knots
Seldom experienced inland; trees uprooted; considerable structural damage.
Very high waves with long overhanging crests; the resulting foam in great patches is blown in dense white streaks; the surface of the sea takes on a white appearance; the tumbling of the sea becomes heavy with visibility affected.

Me thinks they do talk it up a little too much[}:)]

I'd be happy to be corrected by a Naish rider but surely 50 knots is beyond the 14' Glide's optimum range. But Ivan on a 12'6" board in those conditions is freaky.
