This morning got frustrating. After getting out at the Alley at 5:30 with only two other people on the water by 7:30 was getting dropped in on by ski riders, canoes, grommets with no idea and whoever else was out.

Time to go home.

Not so long a go I was cleaned up paddling back out at the Ally by a double racing surf ski.

Knobs took off in front of me on a wave about a metre and totally kooked it and lost their ski sideways straight into me and snapped off my side fins.

Pissed me off as they looked at me as if to say what are you doing paddling here.

Shook my head and told them to kindly leave the area and stick to the flat water.

Yep summer's here. If you want to get to the beachies you better get there early. I hit the water at 4:45am this morning and there was already 3 out. By 5:30am it was packed. And the surf was only slightly bigger than Deans' micros from the other thread. Mate of mine counted 22 sups at the Alley this morning.

somewhere on the tweed was great this morning ... me and .............. me. But it will be dreadful down there tomorrow morning
