It's like a big ugly two headed monster.. Funny that it's in Tassie..

Sorry, I just don't understand the point of it. As great as it is to watch and admire the bravery of it (or should that be stupidity?) It's a bit like Train surfing or Russian Roulette, eventually your numbers going to come up and it's not going to be pretty!

Eventually everyone's number comes up eventually. They obviously love surfing big waves, know the risks, and have prepared themselves as much as they can to handle those situations. So maybe calling it stupidity is a bit harsh.

With PFD's, support boats, full resus kits and jet skis that can get you out quick. Pretty sure it is a little different to train surfing....

Same with all these types of things in life mate. You can never understand why someone does it, unless you have done it yourself.

Nothing against Tassie.. I love the place and lived in beautiful Hobart for a while.. My dad is a Tas-maniac..

Remember I said that I admired them it's just.... And no, I've never train surfed, played Russian Roulette and I sure as hell aint gunna surf Shipsterns. Stupidity is definitely the wrong word and for that I apologise unreservedly, now INSANITY........ It's just that I shudder at the thought of what they do repeatedly. Probably just getting old and gutless!
