Just had word that these handles are coming our way.

The boys in Hawaii have been testing them and given them the thumbs up.
You can fit them to any board, put them where you want ( balance point with would be a good start). If you cut out a window in your grip it will sit nearly flush on the deck until you use.

So for those wanting to add a handle to a board this is a nice clean way to do it; sand-peel-stick.

Jay (our demo guy) used them in Hawaii and put us on to them. We will give them the once over when they arrive, so stay tuned.

Have seen these on standup zone and Blane says they are the goods. Let us know when they come in and how much they cost AA. Thats the only down side of my PSH, no handle.

Drewsta, o'fishl have had those handles available in oz for awhile now. Pop around and see Dale Chapman and he has the goods.

We have trialled these things and would not recommend them for short surfing sups where the balance point is around where your front foot stands otherwise you may find it also unexpectantly becomes a footstrap and a serious injury.

Highly recommended though for larger sups and raceboards!

Great idea!

Good point, Simon!
The SurfCo handle is rubberised so won't flop around as much as a straight webbing handle.
Hopefully this avoids this issue and it is a bit like a Windsurfing harness which once you have mastered the skill, it it is relatively easy to avoid getting hooked in by mistake.
