Hey guys - Having problems with my naish deckgrip again !!! after the first was replaced. Keeping an eye on it but its already peeling from the raised edges... using glues and black waterproff sealant but if it goes too much I will be taking it back to the dealer (who has been great as always ) for another non Naish deck pad.

My question is can you guys give me some feedback on some good deckgrips as if this one needs replacing then I will be going for another make other than Naish !!! I like the naish style - it gives great traction.....but man how annoying ....I must have spent $20 on f'ing sealants !!!

Thanks

Rob

The Naish grip is an ABSOLUTE hoax! Went through 2 in 4 weeks-and I worked in the surf industry and applied hundreds of grip in my time so know how to apply grip-it's just got crap glue-even the replacement grips that they were the 'new' batch-joke!

The grip that PSH sells (AA here can supply it) is FANTASTIC and will NOT come up.

The OAM grip is really good and looks sweet, The O&E is another good one. Bummer on the Naish grip front and glad all boards come with it already applied and stuck fast. I'm sure the shop where you got it will do you a deal and look after you, i would if some one brought it back to me.
Please any drama just PM me and and i see where i can help.

Hard to go past OAM (on a mission) grip. Very comfortable/great grip and will not come up !! It is also easy to customize for pretty much any board size and shape.
I have tried pretty much all the grips (except psh) and the OAM is by far the standout.

Yeah, the OAM grip is one of the better ones I have seen as well.
You get a LOT of grip for your money!

Just not sure how it goes long term. Anyone had it one for a few a season or two?

The new 7-piece C4 grip is by far the closest that of the naish with similar pattern, raised edges midlength and the highest grade 3M adhesive (white backing)
good stuff
OAM is ok too.

any idea what the PSH/O&E/C4 Grips sell for? I too am on Naish grip number 4 and am really looking to get this sorted for the last time! It probably takes me a couple of hours to get the old grip off, clean the board, heat it up, etc., so I too am pretty fed up with trying to get it to work.

Cheers,
Ronnie

Cheers Pete! Seems pretty reasonable as I was expecting around the $200 mark for some reason................

Anyone know about the PSH grips?

Can any of you guys take a picture of your deck grips and label it with the makers name so I can get an idea what they look like ( as long as it is NOT Naish !!) - the websites just seem to list them but don't have any images.

Thanks
Rob
