We had a great surf Saturday morning 6 us of us were out at Mermaid Beach , I was on my new Jerry Lopez 10'3" and Clarky came and paid us a visit from down South and he was telling me about his new down winder he was shaping , The "E-Jackulator" 18 so after the surf I jumped in my car and followed him to his workshop and was blown away by what I saw, he had glued it together and shaped it in just 2 days it looked great and considering he has never seen a downwinder in the flesh and just used photos and info from this site he's done a top job , it looks fast and stable. give him another week to 10 days and it will on the water.

I'll let Clarky post some pics of his new hard pumping EJ-18.

Hey Piros

Thanks for the blog and your input into the board, sue loves the name. Have a lead for the rudder, do you know harvey from outrigging and photo fame. He makes the tiger oc1 and 2s, and said he could make me a rudder to my specs, only prob is it may take a week or so. Had a quick surf this morn out the front 2ft and offshore, Sue has me in the garden today then maybe start glassing tomorrow.

I could'nt hold back Clarky I just had to let the name out so Harvey Allison has some rudders , what shape are his stock ones ? Hurry and finish the board we need training partners.

Casso the is the link to photos on my board.

When you see this board in the flesh you know it's something special , the rails near the back of the board are so hard there almost a resin edge it has performance writen all over it and yes it Rips.I tested 12 different boards before I settled on this one.

You can lay it over so hard on the bottom turn and it just keeps accelertaing and when you drive it of the lip the board just comes down like it's on train tracks ,it's just so easy to surf. I'm 6ft and 93kg an the board paddles unreal , it's stable and floats me fine , the nose is also a great shape for punching through the white wash on the way out.

This by far the SUP I have ever ridden.

I'd love to see pictures of the downwinder board myself.. ..but if I google E-Jackulator I don't know what I'll find..

I wonder how the E-Jackulator will go against the Penetrator..and will these boards be coloured pink............ Sorry..

The Pentrator v The Ejackulator good race calling eg:- and it's Woogie on the Penetrator with Clarky coming up hard behind on the Ejackulator.

Yeah Waz the board absolutely rips . it's just so under your feet.I was surfing the pumping jetty yesterday morning and I had guys paddleing up and saying how fast it was and were amazed how I could throw it around so easily. When we went out on Saturday Nathen Myer came up and asked to have a go , he loved it as well.

Exitement's building on all fronts here with the approaching launch of the new Penetrator 572. We are on track and at 4 PM tomorrow (Tuesday) the new beast will hit the water at the Noosa Hds. Lions Park. If you live nearby you may like to come check it out, for those who don't a video will be posted tomorrow night of Woogie putting the new craft through it's paces. Likewise the new 448L (that's Ladies) will hit the water on Friday and I'll get some pics of this one up as well. Gotta go, the 572 still needs a paint job!...........Stuey

G,day Piros i am looking at the moment for my next board your enthusiasm for the Lopez has got me interested i am a similar size to you 6,1 hover between 86 to 90kg,s depending on how much Guiness i drink through the week , where do you purchase that board and can i ask you the approx price? The Naish 9'6 interst,s me but i have a feeling i will be to big for this size board as im also only an average surfer 10'3 sounds like a nice size.

Dogman Nathan has been Supping for ages and he rips he has a custom 11 footer that is only 25" wide plus he has made the most outrages paddle I have ever seen the blade head looks like a gaint spear head with a knob on the end but it works.

Teatree the boards are on the Gold Coast at Lowan Surf shop Miami (just behind Miami boatshop) or call Dave on 0402107777 he has 40 Sups in stock it looks unreal when you walk in the shop he has 20 boards ranging from 12-0 to 9-1 all in the one rack.

Have nearly finished glassing the Ejackulator, had a rudder lined up but the rudder had a fault with it. Supplier said it would be 2 weeks till he could make another. Anyone out there know of any suppliers selling rudders. I was looking for a rudder similar to an oc1.

Sorry I just picked a rudder up. Would have been keen to buy the whole system, as all I have is an oc1 rudder without T and fittings.
