Anyone know the pros & cons of these 2 grips (Starboard sups, see here: http://www.star-board-sup.com/products/products.php)?
Mate's getting a 10'5", has a choice of the yellow Startouch or black camo.

I was out with a guy on Saturday with the startouch grip. Seems really good, I know he was happy with it. Looks good not having a eva grip. It seems similar to a windsurfer deck grip, although not quite as aggressive.

the star touch grip worked surprisingly well for me (using the same board), though it is slipperier than the eva. I found the texture of the eva gave me a weird point-loading numbing at the peak of all the bumps that buzzed in my feet after about 30mins of paddling so i preffered the startouch. I dont have the hardest feet though so for those with crusty soles the numbing feeling is probably mute. I just wish the startouch came in a different colour!
