i recon the chop from the westerly on the river is bigger than the waves on the beaches today

yep Lake Manly is back in action as well today - not even a hint of whitewater hitting the bower or the queenie headland. Tough. Oh well we should have something tom by the look of it - fingers crossed!

Not anymore - we have 4m of short period south swell (although this is increasing) heading past us this morning. Winds peaked at 50+ knots from the S and SSW at North Head overnight. Its still gusting to 38 as we speak.


EDIT - Fat fingers - it should have said 7m!!!! Duh.
