Hi everyone I'm just looking at getting into SUP an would like some opinions on boards.
I think I have narrowed it down to either a 10 ft Naish Mana AST or a 10 ft Starboard Whopper.
Would welcome any comments regards quality and suitability for a beginner who wants a board for flat and surf and also resaleability
thanks for any help in advance

Both are very easy boards for people of all shapes and sizes to jump on and have fun , the whopper is the most stable and the mano will have the edge in the surf but both are great entry level boards.

Neither of the boards are what I would call entry-level sups. They are both very capable and forgiving surfing sups for beginners to advanced surfers. The Mana may be a tad more stable but the costruction of both is similar and re-sale would be pretty close. Neither board is a particularly great paddler in flat water due to their quite heavy rockers but what they lack in the flat they both more than make up for in the surf. You can't go wrong with either board and it just comes down to which brand you have preference for.
