"Very solid waves in Gisborne this weekend with a long period swell on the rise from the east clocking at 12 secs. 3-4ft for Saturday and a bit bigger for Sunday! The wind is WNW 13 to 18 knots tomorrow morning with a southerly flick in the afternoon. Sunday morning the winds are very light NNE 4 to 6 knots turning more WNW 12 to 16 knots. Enjoy! "
Sounds good to me

Think pipefins is still sulking about the way one of you aussies described his fins as being "like something a child would make" lol

Towball has been oddly silent?

Also that surfco forum is kind of fun....here on the breeze it can be an hour or two (a day or two?) before you get a reply......but on that forum there is like always "a number of people" with different opinions

Yeah Christchurch didn't quite get the epic conditions forcast, still a couple of foot and stiff offshore though. Just the second time out on my new 7'8 Hokua so was amped to get out anyway. Wobbled a lot, swam a lot but stayed out for 3 hours and scored enough good ones to make me happy with my purchase. I still don't own as many boards as you and Towball

My grom has taken to random putting pegs on me and i have no idea until a mate tells me... pretty funny. Maybe you can do that to pipe when is isn't looking. Just add to the plummeting self esteem...

Yeah I went back and had another look at that forum today, but gave up after reading a few pages. They really are ignorant idiots aren't they! As you say gizzie still waiting for an intelligent reply. Some people are just scared of change (even if its way better!)

I'm thinking of getting a Hokua 9' as a general allround board and for bigger surf. I have been very impressed with the Naish quality and weight. I've never really liked them in the past - too yellow

DJ reckons the yellower the betterer......don't agree with him but that Hokua 9'5 is a versatile fun board & & have always had a hankering for the big Hokua gun

Is this just a racist comment or is it more of an aussie redneck racist comment?
Either way possibly not a very polite way to strike up a conversation.
Arranging for you to be deported & living next door to pipefins could be a suitable punishment I suspect

Whetu is the biggest (SB whopper club)
Did I say he's really big?
So big that when whetu catches a wave even pipefins suddenly can't see anyone riding a sup lol
