Been playing around with the go pro on the board, how to do you get photos without water drops, have tried rainex on lens but still ended up with some

Thx

You will never stop it completely. I use rainex as well and it seems to help a bit. You could try licking the lens, but that looks a bit strange in the lineup..... lol Good luck Kitemantim

What I am trying to work out is will I use a standard small mount that was in the box and stick straight to blade or will this not be strong enough? Or use a handle bar mount

in DJ's latest vid you can see where he mounts it on the paddle, its not the handlebar mount

You seriously have to spit on your hand and wipe it before each set in the surf. That's really the only way. Spit, quick splash of water, and you're good for one wave...

Rainex before every session
Wipe on wipe off with micro fibre
I find the droplets shake off once you get motoring

Thanks, lick rules but has any one tried the "go clear" link below

getxclear.com/blogs/news/86833606-tired-of-water-ruining-gopro-how-to-keep-water-drops-off-your-gopro-lens-for-up-to-5-months

May order some as only about $15 from UK, may be worth the punt

The trick with rain-x is to dry each layer gently with a hairdryer, and apply 3 layers or more...

Spit on it, tried and true and still works better than most of the other stuff
