I just got in trouble then my girlfriend was worried about all the talk of length of stroke, strokes per minute, nice straight shaft with a positive entry..

Best video I have ever seen to show the relation of all the factors. Technique, board, paddle size, length etc.
The best part is where the paddle exits the water ahead of where it was entered. That must be the perfect size blade with the perfect technique.
I would love to see this test done with smaller blades like the Methane etc. My feeling would be that there is far less travel per stroke and that the blade would constantly come out of the water behind the entry point due to slippage.

Yeah good find Angie
For the serious paddler this analysis would be worth its weight in gold
Is it software driven or has Jim just adapted the mac computer with the plastic measuring line in the water and just added drawing on the screen, anyone know???
